Joni Mitchell, one of my favorite musicians, was born and raised in Canada and was awarded Order of Canada!
Another favorite musician of mine, Stan Rogers, lived in and sang about Canada!
It's just really good.
It's the national winter sport of Canada!
The design is just so great! It's simple, yet distinctive. The maple leaf has been a symbol for Canada since 1834, and is culturally and arboreally relevant! It sticks to two colours that stand out and is fairly easy replicable. Great flag!
